Photographs with quotes and quote images are some of the top ways that visitors connect with me. Many times this is how they arrive at the Classic Legacy website. I want to share with you the tools that I have found to be the most helpful to create quotes that can be used on Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus, and Instagram ……and by the way these are the top social media channels for me.
Picmonkey for Your Computer
Picmonkey is an application that can be used at this time only on your computer. It is easy to use and allows you to edit your own photo or to create a collage. There are many overlays and text choices available. I know how to use Photoshop….just a little but really Picmonkey makes everything so easy that for most applications it is my choice. I want to show you some examples of quotes that I’ve created with Picmonkey.
Studio Application for your Phone
The Studio app for iphone is new. I began noticing on Twitter the hash tag #madewithstudio. I wondered what that was and discovered a jewel! It is SO easy to work with and although you can add extras for 99 cents I am totally pleased with the free version for now. I’ve found that it is so easy to create text over a photo on my phone or add overlays such as shapes, textures, frames, crops, doodles, emblems, and ribbons. Studio has also made it super easy to share what you make to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Email, and your own camera roll. One tip to remember when working with Studio is to be sure to click on all the little dots and icons. They all mean something or take you to a new tool within Studio. Here are some of the images and quotes that I’ve created with Studio.
I encourage you to use both Picmonkey and Studio. You will be glad to see how easy it is to create quotes. Everyone loves quotes and it is a really good way to connect.
