Big Cedar is a treasure not to be missed. This luxury lodge resort won my heart! My life long friend, Rhonda, invited five of us to spend a long weekend in Missouri. We drove and flew to meet each other for a great weekend of laughter, story telling, eating, walking, and discovering Big Cedar. I enjoy designing and creating custom gifts for luxury hotels and resorts so I had to introduce myself to Rick Bilyeu, the buyer of the Collections Gift Store.
Custom Gifts Designed for Big Cedar
Rick, met me when I arrived. The gift store, Collections, is full of wonderful gifts! It is in the building where you arrive and check in. There is a big fireplace nearby with lots of comfy chairs. The view out the windows is breath-taking. Rick showed me the store layout and then we went to his office downstairs. It is fun to get the behind the scene tour as well. I showed Rick several samples of our wine accessories, jewelry, and gifts. These are some of the favorites.
Discovering Big Cedar
Rick knew that I was meeting friends. He said be sure to go everywhere…..but for sure have dinner at Top of the Rock. I will have to say that was the best dining,but t there are so many good things to experience at Big Cedar!
Leave a Trail
I encourage you to not always go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail. Sometimes in our busy schedule we don’t take time to explore all the trails. I’m so glad that I took this weekend off and discovered Big Cedar Lodge! I appreciate Rhonda asking me to come.
