Artful hotel hospitality encourages guests to create fun events. These events are then shared via social media and the advocates for the hotel are the guests! This was my experience at the 21C Museum Hotel in Bentonville, Arkansas. I agreed to meet my Mother and sister in Bentonville, Arkansas. We had a wonderful day visiting the Crystal Bridges Museum. Before we left town I wanted to visit the 21C Museum Hotel. I had read about this unique blend of art and hotel. Sunday brunch at the 21C Museum Hotel is how we experienced this hotel for the first time.
Exterior Hotel Art Welcomes
The moment I drove up to the 21C Museum Hotel I knew I was in for a treat. There is a big old car on the outside that has over 50 feet. I could see the “orange tree” which is actually an orange pole with multiple basketball nets. What a great way for a hotel to welcome guests…..arose curiosity……I could not wait to see what else was in store.
Special Exhibits Greet Lobby Guests
“A Brief History of Cuba as Told by Other Things” is the exhibit that greeted us in the lobby . “Cuba has ushered in an era of dramatic paradox: islanders and exiles, as well as tourists, are more free to come and go, but rising economic disparities limit resources and impede access to opportunity for many Cubans.” This exhibit is titled, ‘ Transporting Transformations: Cuba, In and Out. The art shown reflects Cuba.
This tree of 40 fruits is permanent. As you can see it is a REAL tree with 40 different types of leaves that will bear 40 different types of fruit.
Brunch An Event to Remember
Sunday Brunch at the 21C Museum Hotel in Bentonville was FUN! Everyone from the host who seated us to our waiter and even other guests made us feel welcome and comfortable. I had heard about the penguin art but I did not know about all the other animals that we would discover.
I will always remember my introduction to the 21C Museum Hotel in Bentonville. Next time I want to spend the night as well. What a wonderful way for a hotel to create memories, encourage creativity, and become THE HOTEL that everyone is talking about! I encourage you to think creatively and create memories as your guests or clients walk into your business. The return is big. I think this quote by Maya Angelou is good for businesses to remember.
