Of course the real answer is that nobody knows what the future holds, but these tips are a clue of what might become a collectible or what might become an antique.
Collectibles And Antiques Often Purchased Originally As Gifts
Collectibles and antiques were often purchased originally as small gifts. I purchased the Navajo Indian vase when I was 16. It is signed and I am very I bought this gift! It was originally just a small memento from my travels in Arizona. My grandmother who is in the photo below purchased this silver box with the embossed buffalo in 1901. Many collectibles and antiques were originally made in a limited production. That is true of the NOLA2018 collection that I designed for the New Orleans Tricentennial. The marble coasters and the trinket trays, and the bottle stopper are all only produced only in 2018. This is a limited edition and they could be the collectibles of the future.
