Behind the Scene Tour of the new National Civil Rights Museum in Memphis

What an honor I had today! Debbie Nutt invited me to take a behind the scene tour of the newly updated National Civil Rights Museum at the Lorraine Motel in Memphis. I have created custom gifts for the museum. It has been a few years since I visited the museum. The exhibits are much more inter-active. I got to see the vision and how the gift shop will integrate that vision. What a help this was for me! Thank you Debbie. Here are some of the things that inspired me.

Statues in the National Civil Rights Museum — There are many life-size statues that depict the tragic history of American slavery.

Rosa Parks on Bus — I walked into the bus and saw Rosa Parks sitting on the bus.

Inspirations from the NCRmuseum — These are some of the images that I saw today that I plan on incorporating in future designs.

Gift Store National Civil Rights Museum Memphis — The museum store is spacious and open. It is full of light and very inviting. The tour ends here and will be a great spot for visitor to find a gift to remember their experience.
