I began using Evernote about two years ago. It is my digital brain and helps me remember and file many ideas that I want to remember. I use Evernote on my computer, iPhone, and iPad. Here are some ways I use Evernote that you might find helpful.
Evernote for Business
- Quotes When I find a collection of great quotes I add that to a folder in Evernote. I share quotes that I like and find inspiring. Quotes are very popular on the Classic Legacy Pinterest account. They are also popular on my Instagram account!
- New Product Ideas I am always on the lookout for new ideas. When I see something that is interesting or that I might like to develop I save it and tag it in Evernote. I use my iPhone to take a photos of ideas. I copy and paste the URL of websites in Evernote. Another way that I enter information in Evernote is by using the chrome Evernote Extension . Here is the link to the Evernote extension for Chrome. It is SO helpful and time saving.
- Display Ideas I am also on the lookout for display ideas to share with retailers. I have a Pinterest board devoted to display ideas and it is one of my most popular boards. I recently took photos of displays on my phone and saved them in Evernote!
- Tools I love discovering new tools to use for my business. I use Evernote to remember all these tools. One of the most helpful tools I recently found is called My ECover Maker. It is a very affordable tool that helps you create professional eBook covers! I used this tool to make the cover for my EBook.
Evernote for My Life
- Art Ideas I’ve always love art and art projects. I have begun to save art ideas that I think might be fun to do with grandchildren! I saved this idea “How to paint Spring trees” ……it may be the next Saturday art activity!
- Recipes Cooking is not my favorite thing! …..but I do like to cook special foods and desserts for holidays and events. I use Evernote as a place to save some of my favorite recipes.
- Travel Plans On a recent trip to New York I wanted to go to a rooftop bar. I saved all sorts of ideas for rooftop bars in New York in my Evernote account. I choose The Peninsula Hotel. It was a fabulous experience and Evernote made my planning easier.
