It is important to know what the photo, logo, or artistic image that you own will look like on custom gifts because often that image has to be cropped or maybe even background image added to fit into the required medallion or charm. Classic Legacy always shows you how your image will look on the custom gifts that you choose. Here are some important things to remember when considering how your custom gift will look.
Personalized Gift Virtual Image Begins with the Highest Resolution Image Available
It is important to begin the design process with a high-resolution image. We like to work with 600 DPI images and the minimum resolution should be at least 300 DPI. Many times a client will send me a logo taken from their website. Website images are not high enough resolution. Here is a good example of the image we began with for the Belle Meade Plantation. It is an image taken from an original painting.
Personalized Gift Virtual Imag Requires Understanding that this image may have to be cropped
It is important to remember that your image may have to be cropped to fit into the settings for custom gifts. We work with round, square, and oval settings. Here is how this image had to be cropped to fit into the round setting for the custom bottle stopper.
