Military personalized gifts are one of the specialties of Classic Legacy custom gits. Memorial Day 2012 is past but I am still thinking of all those in my family that served in the military and made it possible for me to be free and to have my business of creating custom gifts. A few years ago I began a project….that is not yet complete. The project that I began is to transcribe the letters that were written by my husband’s grandfather during World War II. These letters don’t tell of any military engagements (that was not allowed). They are instead daily updates of the routine of life….of people …and of yearning for news of home. I am learning through these letters to appreciate the simple joys of daily life.
Many photos are faded and gone but there is one photo that remains a treasure. This shows the father and uncle with two sons. They were all together on Mother’s Day before the Battle of the Bulge….and they all made it home!
Recently Classic Legacy was commissioned to create custom work for Presidential Libraries. I have always admired John F. Kennedy and saw this quote today posted on Pinterest.
I want to share with you some of the military gifts that Classic Legacy has had the honor to create. They all include the logo from various divisions in the Air Force or Navy. Word has spread about Classic Legacy custom gifts and I look forward to doing even more for our military.
Our latest design is in the approval process and is for Vandenberg AFB. I really like this design and think this will be a gift that is used and remembered.
