Custom Gifts created from your Photographs

Last updated on 10/28/2010 By Catherine Tatum Catherine Tatum

Custom gifts, by Classic Legacy,  allow you to create a unique gifts  for your customers.  Here are some design tips to keep in mind.

1.  Take a several good photos of your subject.   Outdoor shots seem to work best.   Natural light is wonderful.

2.  Don’t worry about “extra” things that you might not want in the photo.   Note our graphic artist used her magic and removed several cars, people, and fixtures.  Concentrate on getting the best focus and light for your subject.

3.   Think about whether you would like for your final image to be in color, sepia, or black.   All options are available.

4.  Decide if you would like text added to the photo.   If you would like text give us feedback on what kind of font you would like.   We have noticed that just a few words is best and simple bold text works well.   Many font styles are available from very fancy and elegant to bold and simply classic.

5.  Remember we will always give you a screen sample very similar to this.   When you approve the screen sample then we go to production.  We encourage your input in the design process.

6.  This square image also can be used on Classic Legacy custom bottle stoppers.

This week Camille Patton of K P Jewelers in Alexandria, LA  created her second custom gift.   Classic Legacy is helping her create custom marble coasters that are unique.    The first marble coaster featured a fleur de  lis and the words Alexandria, Louisiana.   The Fighting Tiger airplanes are displayed in the city and are famous for all the great missions that they served.   Camille wanted the product to be sepia in color to match her first coaster and to give the vintage antique look to the gift.   These two photos illustrate what can be achieved.   We look forward to creating custom gifts for you.   It all can begin with your photo!
