Kim Garst’s, Social Boom #15 was a great success. Many of the best social media experts shared their expertise. Social Boom #15 was filled with fun times, learning, and connecting with fellow attendees. The experts in this photo are Sue B Zimmerman, Kim Garst , Viveka von Rosen, and Peg Fitzpatrick. I love these pink wigs and the smiles!
Kim’s creative idea to offer gifts to guests as well as speakers was brilliant. Small business owners were encouraged to donate gifts. At designated times a gift that a business donated was presented. Attendees then were encouraged to tweet and share via social media during the conference and a winner was announced based on social media activity. Fleur De Lis Theme Gift Box
The fleur de lis theme is one of the most popular Classic Legacy gift themes. I created this gift box using one of our wooden boxes and embellished it with a silver fleur de lis. Inside the box, I included gifts appropriate for men and women. The gifts inside included earrings, a bracelet, a marble wine stopper, a marble coaster, a notepad, a letter opener, a paperweight, and a photo frame. These gifts are now with the lucky winner! I can just imagine them on a desk, in a wine bottle, and being worn. What a great way for designers to gain attention and bless attendees at the same time! Thank you Kim for this opportunity! Photo Frame with Boom Social Logo
Classic Legacy also created custom photo frames for speaker gifts. Katie, with the Kim Garst team, emailed me the Boom Social logo. (That is how custom gifts begin 
) The Classic Legacy team then created custom medallions that are set in a silver setting. The medallion was placed on the frame. We then boxed each frame in a white gift box and added purple grosgrain ribbon for instant gift wrap!

Behind the scenes Preparing Custom Gifts
I thought it would be fun to show you some behind the scene photos as we created and prepared these gifts for the Social Boom #15 event.
I wanted to include all of these gifts and had to figure out how to present them in a nice gift box. The wooden box was a perfect solution. I hand-finished it with a walnut finish and added the silver fleur de lis medallion.
Before the photo frame idea was finalized I created a presentation to show how over 20 Classic Legacy gifts would look with the Social Boom Logo. When clients are able to see choices it becomes clearer what the perfect gift will be! 
The photo frame was the gift chosen to give to the speakers. The photo below shows them being made in the Classic Legacy studio.
The outside of the gift box of the photo frame was wrapped in purple grosgrain ribbon and the Welcome Social Boom Card was on the outside. This made for instant gift wrap…..and one less thing for the Kim Garst team to do!

On the last night I went out to dinner with my newfound friend, Karen Love…..and believe it or not we both are from Memphis and did not even know each other until Social Boom #15.
