Their niche is lifestyle retail focused exclusively on serving customers who are passionate with Lake Life. I love learning more about Classic Legacy customers so that I can better serve them. Here are some highlights of what I learned about Lakehouse Outfitters.
Who founded Lakehouse Outfitters
Cindy Batten is the President, founder, and “worker bee” of Lakehouse Outfitters. Cindy brings over 25 years of advertising sales experience to the organization and understands the importance of marketing. She is a lake lover who understands what other lake lovers like!
Where is Lakehouse Outfitters Located
Lakehouse Outfitters got their start in a field in the world famous First Monday Trade Days in Canton, Texas. In 2009 Cindy and her team first set up a tent in a field to sell a small selection of lake gifts and home decor. Now they operate on the grounds from a 1200 square foot permanent retail space. This non-traditional retail environment allows them to promote Lakehouse Outfitters to 1000’s of target customers who have traveled from all over the USA to visit this historic shopping event. They are open only 4 days each month but promote and support customer demand 24/7 via their growing eCommerce business. Here is a link to Lakehouse Outfitters online . In addition to Canton Lakehouse Outfitters participates in Holiday shows such as the Chi Omega Christmas show in Dallas, Texas. Their Boatique is a retail showroom attached to the new Online Distribution facility located on the shores of their home lake, Cedar Creek Lake, Texas. Cedar Creek Lake is only an hour south east of Dallas and home to 1000’s of weekend/vacation homes making it a perfect place for Lakehouse Outfitters to conduct business.

I just discovered the Cindy’s Lake House Outfitters blog. They hosted the local real estate community during the monthly 3rd Thursday Locals Social at The Boatique in Log Cabin. She shared the recipe for no-bake Mississippi Mud Pie. This looks delicious to me!
